
The State of Things
Hello and good day. I've recently completed a major version update of this website's Drupal codebase. Hopefully everything's still working. Do let me know if you see anything broken. I'm also starting to accept new user accounts for promoters so they can add events directly on their own.
I've just completed an upgrade from Druapl v9 to v10. Work is now starting on the next jump to v11 which'll probably be a lil harder to figure out. It'll be very beneficial to my sanity if I rework the site html/css design before moving to 11. The goal will be to strip out all the excess modules originally used to build the current theme. By going back to standard theme templating, I'll be able to remove a bunch of cumbersome intertwined module dependencies that have been a constant hassle regarding the maintenances of this site.
So hopefully I can re-up webdev chops and build out a new design that'll be as simplistic and accessible as possible. I want things to look good even if CSS is turned off. I want to rework the general block layout and make things easier to view on mobile. I'm definitely going to implement a calendar view so we can more easily see the weeks ahead instead of only an ordered list. If you've got suggestions for the site design and layout, please let me know. No, there won't be a forum.
